Eligibility Criteria to appear for CLAT 2020

The terms and conditions that define that students are eligible for CLAT 2020 is discussed in the following points below:

For UG Program

1. Minimum Qualification-  The aspirant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from recognized university or board with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST).
2. Age Limit- There is no age limit to appear for the undergraduate program.
3. Appearing students- Students who are going to appear for the qualifying exam in the month of April/May 2020 are also eligible to apply for the exam.

For PG Program

1. Minimum Qualification-  The candidate must have passed LLB or equivalent exam from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (SC/ST students are eligible for 5% relaxation).
2. Age Limit-  Age is not a bar to appear for the exam
3. Other students- Candidates appearing for the qualifying exams in April/May 2020 are also eligible to apply for the exam.

The candidates seeking admission to law courses offered NLU and participating Institutes need to fill the application form using the correct and verifiable data. Steps to fill CLAT 2020 Application form

1. The initial step involves registration by entering the name, email id, and mobile number.

CLAT 2020 Exam Pattern

2. The exam will be a Pen-Paper Based Test (PBT)
