7 Time Management tips that every aspirant should not miss

Despite preparing hard for the exams, many aspirants struggle to succeed in the exam simply due to insufficient time management. With such cut-throat competition for prestigious exams like CTET and CLAT, a single wasted minute may the turntables against you. Relax your self- Did you know having the right temperament for the exam can make you win half of the battle? Stay positive anxiety has never helped anyone. It only decreases your ability to think and make decisions in the most challenging times. Hence before the exam take a deep breath. Focus on the task in hand and don’t let negative overpower you. The best way to tackle that is by taking short meditation of 5-10 minutes. 

Skimming through Question Paper is the key- Before starting to attempt questions tries to read all the questions keenly. Mark the questions that you feel are easy and difficult and make categories according to it. This will help t understand the difficulty level of it and you can plan and act accordingly. Based on your assessment of the question, get an estimated time you spend on a question, and stick to it. 

Easy questions will boost your confidence- There is no barrier if you feel like you can opt easy questions first. This will build your confidence and make sure you don’t lose marks by committing silly mistakes here. 

Leave your Ego out of it- It happens with most us that a question looks easy and you start solving it but you are stuck somewhere. You just tell yourself you are almost there, just more minutes. This will lose your precious time and the same you can use to solve other questions. If you stick to your plan you will be able to get back to the questions that you left and the same can be given more amount of time. 

Set Aside Time for your weak areas- There is always a section in the exam in which you don’t have strong command as compared to other sections. Allocate your time and better efforts can lead to getting a grip over those sections. Hence proper allocation of time is essential when you are attempting such highly competitive exams.

Be Careful with OMR Sheets- Firstly, don’t rush while marking answers unless you are confident about it. Haste makes terrible waste. Most of the competitive exams have negative marking and you can lose your precious marks. Once you cross-check your answer then mark it on the OMR sheet. You get no marks for solving it you get marks for correct answers. 

Stay Focused- You have no time for distraction. Looking at your friends will not award you marks. Don’t be feeble-minded students who look at others and get influences other and loose confidence in the examination hall.
