Important pointers of
exam pattern
NLU Design different exam patterns for each of the courses offered. Since the official notification is yet to be declared for the sake of reference we provided the exam pattern which is witnessed over the years.
1. Exam Mode- The exam would be conducted in offline mode i.e. Pen-paper based test.
2. Medium- The question would be in the English Language.
3. Time Duration- The candidates would be given 90 minutes to complete the exam.
4. Type of Questions- The multiple Choice questions will be asked in the paper.
5. Total number of Questions- There would be a total of 150 questions in the paper.
6. Marking Scheme- Each correct the answer will be given 1 mark.
7. Negative Marking- 0.25 marks would be deducted for each incorrect response
Syllabus for AILET 2021
The following are some
topics from which questions will be asked to the aspirants:
- Analytical Abilities- This section questions from topics like logical reasoning, number system, profit and loss, probability, Venn diagrams, and other related subjects.
- 2. English Language- This section will test your command over the English Language and includes topics like Unseen passages, one-word substitute, Sentence and Word Correction, Spell Checks, Grammar, Comprehension, Sentence, and word correction.
- General Awareness- This section would have questions related to General Knowledge and current affairs
- 4. Legal Awareness- This section will test the candidate's legal knowledge on topics such as Legal Prepositions, Conclusions, legal propositions, bare acts, and amendments of the Indian Constitution.

- Be an Early Bird and learn new words everyday- It is always recommended to start the preparation as quickly as you can as this will help you to an upper hand over the aspirants.
